Wow, what a weekend with the running of the 138th Kentucky Derby horse race and Cinco De Mayo all in the same day.
The staff at Style Denver took advantage of the epic day to hold the 1st semi-annual Derby De Mayo event at Club 1201 in Wash Park. Semi-annual because it’s only about every 3-5 years that the race falls on May 5th. Subsequently, I was at the same house under different owners on the last one. With a mix of high fashion and bourbon, taco bars and tequila, and a winning horse that couldn’t be more perfect for a cocktail party(I’ll Have Another), the day was a fun one shared with friends and family.
