MODEFI SALON ANNOUNCES GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION
Progressive Salon Relocates Into Larger Space in Littleton
Modefi, a chic salon founded by renowned hairstylist Richard Morrill that specializes in premier hair styling and coloring, announced that it will celebrate the opening of its new location on Saturday, August 18. Located at 8174 S. Kipling Pkwy. #150 in Littleton, the salon will also feature custom hair care products formulated specifically for Colorado’s dry climate and will host a continuing education program that will be free to all hairstylists statewide.
Richard Morrill, current president of the United States Hairdressers Guild and hairstylist to rock and roll’s elite, opened Modefi in 2008 after arriving from the Los Angeles area. He quickly gained notoriety as a former original band member of Korn who found his calling in life as one of the nation’s leading hairstylists; located right here in Littleton. His salon, Modefi, has outgrown its original 300-square feet salon and has moved to a new hip yet tranquil space that features more than 1,300 square feet.
“I quickly realized that we were going to outgrow our initial location fairly quickly,” said Modefi Founder and Stylist Richard Morrill. “I had big dreams for the Modefi brand. More than quadrupling the size of the salon will allow us to serve more clients, support our fellow stylists with a continuing education program as well as showcase our new Modefi line of products.”
During the grand opening celebration, Richard will unveil his new brilliant line of Modefi hair styling products that was designed to neutralize the state’s extremely dry climate. Taking more than two years to develop, the Modefi line features:

Also announced today, Modefi is launching a new continuing education program that will be held on the third Monday of every month at 1 p.m. Free to all stylists, Modefi Training Studio’s goal is to help strengthen the hairstylist industry by teaching new techniques and trends, refining hair styling skills and making stylists more attractive to potential employers. Richard, as well as other national stylists brought in from around the country, will host the two-hour classes. The first Modefi Training Studio class will be held on Monday, September 17.
