Vitruvian Fitness:Play Hard.Eat Well.Be Happy.

Nestled on Tejon St. in LoHi is a fitness studio that promotes healthy living along with a community atmosphere.  The tag line- Play Hard. Eat Well. Be Happy.- was a theme of a blog created by owner and 9-year Highlands resident Tom Wigginton.  “My marketing company told my I needed a tag line, and their suggestions just did not seem to fit.  Then it came to me, one day on a marathon rowing session, that I had already had my tag line.  It promotes the idea of life balance and symmetry, and also ties into the name and inspiration, the Vitruvian Man,” Wigginton said.

Life balance is something that we all strive to achieve. But there are so many daily distractions and obligations that the commitment is difficult. But if one can go to a place, reach fitness goals, meet new friends, and just feel good, it seems like a decision easily made. Vitruvian Fitness is a locally-owned, personal training and small group exercise studio. It offers semi and private personal training and small group workouts using the TRX Suspension Trainer and the Keiser M3 indoor bicycle. Classes last 60 minutes, and vary in different skill levels. They also offer childcare services Monday-Friday from 10am-1pm. And the best offer- your first TRX or cycling class is free! So give it a try….you have nothing to lose, and hopefully a healthy, symmetrical, proportional, balanced life to gain!
