Yoga Rocks The Park

Are you ready to get outside and play? Yoga is rockin’ at the park in Denver this summer! Yoga Rocks the Park will bring some of Denver’s best yoga instructors and live music to City Park and Alamo Placita Park every Sunday this summer starting on June 19th. Come feel the grass between your toes and listen to great music while you get your down dog on.

Now in its third year, Yoga Rocks the Park continues their partnership with Yoga World Reach, a Colorado based non-profit organization that promotes yoga locally and globally. Proceeds from Yoga Rocks the Park benefit Yoga World Reach in their mission to empower those in need using Yoga to find inner peace and harmony. Come out and share your practice, be guided by inspirational instructors like Desi and Micah Springer, R. R. Shakti and Santosh among others and support Yoga World Reach. Also, look for Weekly Wellness deals at Yoga Rocks the Park throughout the summer where you can receive discounts on local yoga class packages, merchandise, and coupons for healthy eats!

Of course, you’re at the park, so bring the kids. Camp Yoga Rocks is a nationally recognized children’s yoga program and will be at all of the Yoga Rocks the Park gatherings in Denver this summer. Youngsters 5-10 years old can practice yoga and do other fun activities like hula hooping and face painting lead by an experienced children’s yoga instructor.

The fun starts Father’s Day and all dads get half off yoga in the park. Check out the entire summer schedule and pre-register for Yoga Rocks the Park online at www.yogarocksthepark.com cost is $10 per person or $15 the day of the event and season passes are available. Music starts each Sunday at 9:30 AM and yoga begins at 10 AM. It’ll be a great dose of healthy activity and vitamin D!  Namaste.
